For Notre Dame’s clash against Clemson, the Fighting Irish are wearing icy white uniforms on Saturday.
Notre Dame’s football account posted a video on X (formerly known as Twitter) featuring white jerseys with navy blue and gold lettering with white pants and the team’s traditional gold helmets.
Saturday’s game does not mark the first instance that Notre Dame has worn all-white attire. In 2013, Notre Dame wore all white in its game against Arizona State in Arlington, Texas, as part of its Shamrock Series. Earlier this season, Notre Dame donned an all-green ensemble in its loss to Ohio State.
Although the new threads present a different look for the team on the field, the attire generated mix reviews from fans on social media.
