Colin Farrell uses typical Irish expression to describe Oscar nomination on US TV show

Oscar-nominated Colin Farrell has said being up for Best Actor for his role in The Banshees of Inisherin at the Academy Awards is a “bit of craic”.

Speaking to CBS Sunday Morning, Farrell joined his co-star and fellow Oscar nominee Brendan Gleeson, who is up for Best Supporting Actor, to discuss the film's success in a record year for Irish talent at the Academy Awards, where we received 14 nominations last week.

The Banshees of Inisherin has received nine Oscar nominations.
