Oscar-nominated Irish star Colin Farrell is unrecognisable as he reprises his role as the Penguin in a Batman spin-off role.
The Banshees of Inisherin lead actor was seen wearing prosthetics as a physically transformed Oswald Oz Cobblepot in The Penguin while filming in new York.
The Penguin is a new HBO Max limited TV show being filmed this week.

The 46-year-old Castleknock native features in the series after playing the same character in The Batman movie, which came to the silver screen last year.
Farrell previously stated that playing The Penguin in Matt Reeve's The Batman was only the "tip of the iceberg" when it comes to delving into the character. The Dubliner now sits with Reeve's as producers for the spin-off.
He stressed that the continued exploration will see him grow from Oz to The Penguin.
During filming for The Batman, Farrell sat in makeup for three to four hours each day to become the antagonist Oswald Cobblepot, who was named The Penguin after having his ankle broken for being an informant and acquiring a distinctive hobble.
The Banshees of Inisherin actor will attend this weekend's Academy Awards, where he is up for Best Actor against fellow Irishman Paul Mescal as well as Austin Butler, Brendan Fraser and Bill Nighy.
The ceremony is due to take place on March 13 at 12am Irish time in the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be hosted by American television chat show host Jimmy Kimmel.
