In exciting news for fans of the hit Netflix series 'Bridgerton,' a new clip from the upcoming Season 3 has been released. Set to debut on May 16, this highly anticipated installment of the show will delve into the romantic journey of a new member of the esteemed Bridgerton family in 19th century England. Following the formula of previous seasons and drawing inspiration from Julia Quinn's novels, Season 3 shines the spotlight on Colin Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Newton, and his love interest Penelope Featherington, played by Nicola Coughlan, who hails from a neighboring family.
The recently unveiled clip, which was showcased at a 'Bridgerton' fan event attended by Julia Quinn and executive producer Shonda Rhimes in London, UK, features a heart-wrenching moment between Colin and Penelope. In the scene, Penelope confronts Colin about his reluctance to court her, tearfully expressing her belief that he is embarrassed by her. As viewers of the previous seasons will know, Penelope has long harbored romantic feelings for Colin, oblivious to his unawareness of her affection. Season 3 promises to further develop their slow burn friends-to-lovers storyline, with the inclusion of a beloved moment from the books where Penelope wraps Colin's injured hand.
