Coleraine say they will appeal the mammoth 10-game ban imposed on influential midfielder Jamie Glackin.
It is understood that Glackin has been cited for an alleged breach of Article 22 of the Irish FA's disciplinary code which relates to "anyone who offends the dignity of a person or group of persons through contemptuous, discriminatory or denigratory words or actions concerning disability, gender or sexual orientation".
The minimum punishment for such an offence is 10 games, while a minimum fine of £500 is imposed on the player's club.

It leaves Glackin potentially facing a premature end to his season. The Bannsiders only have nine league games remaining of the regular season, starting with Saturday's trip to champions Linfield.
They also have the final of the BetMcLean Cup approaching on May 12 against the Blues.
The Bannsiders said in a statement: "Coleraine FC have been made aware by the Irish FA Disciplinary Code in relation to a ten match ban for Jamie Glackin…
"The Club can confirm that they will appeal the decision.
"No further statement will be made at this time."
Glackin has scored three goals in 28 Premiership games this season. The 28-year-old recently returned from suspension after being sent off against Carrick Rangers on January 24.
