Rebekah Vardy's lawyer claimed Coleen Rooney "revelled" in the Wagatha Christie nickname, a court has heard.

Coleen publicly accused the fellow WAG's account of sharing three fake stories about her in October 2019 in an explosive statement on Twitter. The three fake stories included how Mrs Rooney, 36, travelled to Mexico for a "gender slection" procedure, her planning to return to TV and a flood in her basement.

The 36-year-old posted the stories on her private Instagram account between August and October 2019, after growing suspicious that Mrs Vardy's Instagram account was leaking stories to The S*n newspaper. Mrs Vardy, 40, who is married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, denies the accusations and is suing Mrs Rooney for libel at London’s High Court.
