Coleen Nolan is worried about "making a show of herself" at her son's nuptials this weekend.
The Loose Women panellist is set to attend her son Shane Richie Jr's wedding in a few days time as he ties the knot with Maddie Wahdan, and she has admitted she's feeling a bit nervous ahead of the big day as she prepares for the family nuptials.
As they chatted about the big day, Coleen admitted: "I never expected to have a weird feeling about him getting married, and I know it's going to be beautiful. I feel like I could cry now and I haven't seen them walking down the aisle yet. I'm going to be a mess."
She admits she is feeling emotional ahead of the big day, as she prepares for her son to take the next step in his life.
"I am now going, ok I hand him over to you, so my job is really done. But at the same time, I get an overwhelming sense of pride for getting him here. I've done a good job," she said, "The wedding jitters are there because I don't want to make a show of myself."
It comes after Coleen asked her fellow Loose Women stars - Janet Street Porter, Jane Moore and Brenda Edwards - for advice on her wedding outfits as she debated what she could wear for the big day in her duties as mother of the groom.
"I'm mother-of-the-groom, so I'm in that dilemma of what does the mother-of-the-groom wear? Because everywhere you go, it's always classed as mother-of-the-bride which obviously is very important because it's the bride that's given away," she said.
She ended up settling on a beautiful black and white dress and a matching hat.
Asked how she felt about the new outfit, she shared: "It's really comfortable as well, which is nice. With the right underwear holding my bits in. I feel really nice in it. I feel like the mother of the groom."
In her own love life, Coleen is dating Michael - who she met on dating app Tinder - and they nearly didn't even match one another.
"It was a bit of a dilemma. You think, 'Am I just swiping because I recognise her?' So I had to think about it and do it for the right reasons – not even for one minute thinking she'd reply anyway," Michael shared previously.
"The surprising thing for me was that once I'd swiped we were a match straight away, which meant that she'd already liked me."
