Coleen Rooney is reportedly planning another wedding as she plans to renew her vows with husband Wayne Rooney.
The WAG, 37, has apparently been inspired by Wayne's former England teammate Peter Crouch and his wife Abbey Clancy, who said 'I do' for the second time with a lavish celebration in the Maldives in December.
Coleen and Wayne are said to be "in a really happy place right now", as the former Manchester United striker works overseas in America while Coleen remains in the UK with their young sons.
“After everything they’ve been through, Coleen and Wayne plan to go all out for their 15th wedding anniversary. For them, it’ll mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of another – hopefully less drama-filled – stage of their lives," a source said.
“They’re planning a beautiful vow renewal, possibly in Barbados, with their closest friends and family. It’s their happy place and they want a quiet, understated, but romantic ceremony," reports OK! magazine.
Childhood sweethearts Wayne and Coleen have been married since 2008 and the two Croxteth-born stars share four children together; Kai, 11, Klay, 8, Kit, 5 and Cass, 3.
Coleen stood by her husband's side amid his public cheating and boozing scandals over the years - breaking her silence on his infidelity and sharing how it "wasn't acceptable" in Wayne's documentary last year.
But the pair are in a good place these days and are allegedly looking to renew their wedding vows alongside their four sons.
Coleen is said to want a "stunning and understated white or nude dress" while Wayne sports a "cream or beige suit".
The couple's sons are set to take centre stage, joining their dad in matching suits, with the source adding Coleen is "secretly hoping for a new diamond ring for the occasion. Something delicate, understated and beautiful".
They added that Wayne apparently has "plans to write a poem and read it as his vows to her" when he walks down the aisle for a second time.
In 2021, Coleen opened up about the past drama in her relationship with Wayne in her husband's moving documentary.
Coleen was seen addressing her husband of 13-years' past in the trailer for Rooney - an Amazon Prime documentary that delved into the footballing ace's life on and off the pitch.
The mum-of-four says in the footage: "I knew groups Wayne was hanging around with - together with alcohol - not good. I forgive him but it wasn't acceptable."
Wayne then tells how he is still dealing with the consequences of the scandal, adding: "People still look at me in a different way.
"For me, it's important that people remember me for who I am rather than what I've done."
