Cognizant’s US immigration troubles: From visa lawsuits to latest green-card filing suspension

Cognizant’s US immigration practices have come under renewed scrutiny after the Department of Labor suspended the company’s filings for employment-based green cards amid an investigation into alleged fraud and abuse in visa programmes.

Anthony D’Esposito, Inspector General of the US Department of Labor, announced the action on X on September 8.
