Austin Eckroat began day five of the Cognizant Classic at PGA National with a one-shot lead but 11 holes still to complete following a lengthy weather delay on Sunday.

The PGA Tour experienced its first unscheduled Monday finish since the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and first Monday finish at this tournament since 2015 when Padraig Harrington won. It was required after play was suspended for three-and-a-half hours due to rain and thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon.
