Sep arabica coffee (KCU23) on Wednesday closed down -0.55 (-0.35%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU23) closed down -36 (-1.40%).
Coffee prices Wednesday settled moderately lower on Brazil's coffee harvest pressures. However, losses in arabica were limited by strength in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) as the real Wednesday climbed to a 1-week high against the dollar. A stronger real discourages export selling from Brazil's coffee producers.
