Coffee Prices Supported by Strength in the Brazilian Real and Tight Supplies

Sep arabica coffee (KCU23) this morning is up +2.20 (+1.36%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU23) is up +50 (+1.92%).

Coffee prices this morning rallied to 3-1/2 week highs and are moderately higher.   Strength in the Brazilian real  (^USDBRL) is boosting coffee prices as the real today jumped to a 13-1/2 month high against the dollar.  The stronger real discourages export selling from Brazil's coffee producers.
