Coffee Prices Sharply Higher on Brazilian Real Strength

March arabica coffee (KCH26) on Tuesday closed up +11.00 (+3.09%), and March ICE robusta coffee (RMH26) closed up +78 (+1.86%).

Coffee prices settled sharply higher on Tuesday, with arabica coffee posting a 2-week high, as strength in the Brazilian real lifted coffee prices.  The real (^USDBRL) rallied to a 20-month high on Tuesday, discouraging export sales from Brazil's coffee producers.
