Coffee Prices Settle Sharply Higher on Supply Woes

March arabica coffee (KCH25) Wednesday closed up +18.35 (+4.44%), and March ICE robusta coffee (RMH25) closed up +164 (+2.90%).

Coffee prices Wednesday rallied sharply, with robusta posting a 1-1/2 week high and arabica just below Tuesday's all-time nearest-futures high.  Smaller coffee supplies from Brazil are bullish for prices after Cecafe reported that Brazil's Jan green coffee exports fell -1.6% y/y to 3.98 million bags.
