Coffee Prices Settle Mixed on U.S. Economic Concerns

May arabica coffee (KCK23) on Tuesday closed down -1.40 (-0.79%), and May ICE robusta coffee (RMK23) closed up +25 (+1.12%).

Coffee prices Tuesday settled mixed, with robusta climbing to a 7-month nearest-futures high.  Arabica coffee fell back on concerns of a slowdown in the U.S. economy that could hurt coffee demand after Tuesday's report showed Feb JOLTS job openings fell to their lowest in 1-3/4 years.
