May arabica coffee (KCK25) Thursday closed up +1.15 (+0.34%), and May ICE robusta coffee (RMK25) closed up +64 (+1.31%).
Coffee prices Thursday settled mildly higher after President Trump paused his reciprocal tariffs on Wednesday, easing concerns about the global economy and commodity demand. Continued supply fears are also supporting coffee prices. Cecafe reported Wednesday that Brazil's March green coffee exports fell -26% y/y to 2.95 million bags. Robusta is also climbing on signs of tighter supplies after ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories fell to a 5-week low Thursday of 4,260 lots.
