Coffee Prices Rally on Dwindling ICE Coffee Inventories

Dec arabica coffee (KCZ23) on Thursday closed up +5.55 (+3.47%), and Jan ICE robusta coffee (RMF24) closed up +16 (+0.69%).

Coffee prices rallied Thursday as current inventories shrink, a supportive factor for coffee prices.  ICE-monitored arabica coffee inventories Thursday fell to a 24-year low of 368,100 bags.  Meanwhile, ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories were at 3,995 lots Thursday, mildly above the record low of 3,374 lots posted on August 31.
