Coffee Prices Push Higher on Tightness in Global Supplies

Dec arabica coffee (KCZ23) this morning is up +4.60 (+3.09%), and Nov ICE robusta coffee (RMX23) is up +40 (+1.66%).

Coffee prices this morning are sharply higher.  Arabica recovered from a 3-week low this morning and rallied sharply on signs of tight supplies.  ICE-monitored arabica coffee inventories last Friday dropped to a 9-3/4 month low of 450,153 bags.  Also, ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories on August 31 fell to a record low of 3,374 lots (data history back to 2016), although those inventories rebounded slightly to a 2-week high today.
