Coffee Prices Mixed on Dollar Strength and Tight Robusta Supplies

Sep arabica coffee (KCU23) this morning is down -4.50 (-2.80%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU23) is up +5 (+0.20%).

Coffee prices today are mixed. Strength in the dollar today (DXY00) is weighing on coffee prices. However, robusta coffee continues to have support from tight supplies as ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories last Friday fell to a record low of 5,422 lots (data history back to 2016). Gains in robusta are limited by negative carryover from last Thursday when Cecafe reported Brazil's June robusta exports rose +60% y/y to 230,653 bags.
