Coffee Prices Mixed as Brazilian Real Strength Boosts Arabica

May arabica coffee (KCK23) this morning is up +0.80 (+0.47%), and May ICE robusta coffee (RMK23) is down -6 (-0.27%).

Coffee prices this morning are mixed. Arabica coffee prices today recovered from a 2-month low and are moderately high as strength in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) sparked short covering in arabica futures. The real today rose to a 1-3/4 month high against the dollar, discouraging export selling from Brazil's coffee producers.
