Coffee Prices Fall as a Slowing Economy May Curb Demand

May arabica coffee (KCK23) this morning is down -7.10 (-3.51%), and May ICE robusta coffee (RMK23) is down -33 (-1.34%).

Coffee prices this morning are sharply lower on concern that worsening economic sentiment may hurt coffee demand.  The Fed Beige Book Wednesday afternoon said the U.S. economy "stalled," and today's economic reports were weaker than expected.
