Ibrahima Konate makes his first Liverpool start for nearly two months as they are entertained by Brentford.
Konate is one of three changes as captain Jordan Henderson misses out entirely through concussion and Curtis Jones returns to the squad.
France international Konate went all the way to the World Cup final in Qatar before les Bleus were beaten by Argentina on penalties on December 18 and the centre-half is back in the Reds side for his first appearance since the victory over Tottenham on November 6.

Konate starts alongside Virgil van Dijk in a back four that also includes Kostas Tsimikas and Trent Alexander-Arnold at the Gtech Stadium. Greek defender Tsimikas is named ahead of Andy Robertson, who was withdrawn from the 2-1 win over Leicester on Friday after sustaining a minor impact injury. The Scotland captain is on the bench.
In midfield, Fabinho returns to the match-day squad following the birth of his son, Israel, last week. The Brazil international was absent from the side that won against Leicester, but is restored to the base of the midfield in west London.
Fabinho is joined by Harvey Elliott and Thiago Alcantara in the centre of the park as captain Henderson misses out.
Liverpool remain unchanged up top, which means Darwin Nunez leads the line with Mohamed Salah and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the right and the left, respectively.
New signing Cody Gakpo is not involved this evening, with his Liverpool debut potentially to come on Saturday evening in the FA Cup at home to Wolves. The Netherlands international only officially joined the club's books on January 1 and is yet to train with his new colleagues.
Liverpool : Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk; Tsimikas; Fabinho, Elliott, Thiago; Salah, Nunez, Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Keita, Jones, Robertson, Carvalho, Matip, Bajcetic, Phillips.
