Coco Gauff ended her 2024 season on a high note by clinching victory at the WTA Finals and securing a substantial $4.8 million prize. Gauff, known for her engagement with online commentary, humorously addressed critics by stating, 'lol safe to say I beat the bad season allegations.'

Her path to victory included defeating top-ranked players Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek before overcoming Olympic gold medalist Zheng Qinwen in a hard-fought final match. Gauff closed the year with an impressive 54-17 record and three tournament wins.
