Coco Gauff secured a convincing victory in the second round of the women's singles tournament at Roland Garros on Monday. The No. 2 seed displayed her dominance on Court Suzanne-Lenglen, swiftly taking a 6-1 win in the first set against María Lourdes Carlé.

With a strong start, Gauff continued her momentum into the second set by breaking Carlé in the opening game. The American player maintained her control and secured a 6-1 victory in the second set, sealing her place in the next round.
