The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Tuesday informed the Supreme Court that it is calling off its proposed protest march scheduled for September 5, in view of the measures taken by the Centre to withdraw cases registered against protesting students.
CJP's counsel Saurav Das made in-person submissions before the Supreme Court, telling the bench that the party has taken note of developments with regard to the closure of FIRs against the students and was withdrawing the call for the march.
