Mineral royalties pledge as campaign hits the regions

A "royalties for regions" scheme is being spruiked as a golden opportunity by a state government chasing a historic election victory.

Victorian Labor Premier Ben Carroll announced on Sunday he would direct all mineral resource royalties raised in the state to its regions.
