The spokesman of the Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki al-Maliki, said that the Coalition Forces managed to intercept and down a drone launched by the Houthi militia from Sanaa towards Jazan.
This came amid hostile escalation by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen.
Al-Maliki said that the Houthi terrorist criminal tool continues to launch drones to carry out hostile and terrorist acts by targeting civilians. However, no causalities were reported.
Also, the Coalition targeted 15 various Houthi sites in Hajjah during the past 24 hours, resulting in the destruction of Houthi vehicles, in addition to the death of a number of elements of the terrorists, state news agency SPA reported.
