Coachella 2023 weekend 1: How to watch the most unmissable acts, from Frank Ocean to BLACKPINK

For UK residents, festival season is quickly starting to creep up on us, but as we eagerly await the fun to begin on our side, across the pond, things have well and truly kicked off, with Coachella taking place this and next weekend.

One of the biggest festivals in the world, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival boasts a line-up of huge global artists, headlined by Latino superstar Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, who become the first K-pop act to headline the festival, and Frank Ocean, with Coachella marking his first live performances since 2017.

The festival will be providing some memorable moments for music fans across the globe. However, for UK fans, it’s not the easiest festival to get to and with the cost-of-living crisis continuing to rear its head, we can totally understand if you’ve decided now might not be the right time to get dusty in the desert.

Fear not, though. As always, we have you covered with a guide to the most unmissable acts during the three-day festival, as well as streaming methods and times!

Colorado Desert, California

How to stream Coachella

As with previous editions, Coachella has partnered with YouTube to stream performances from every stage, live on the video-sharing platform.

YouTube will be covering all six stages of the festival for the first time, meaning those who can’t attend will have a variety of performances to choose from throughout the weekend.

Previously, only three stages were covered, with fans having to wait for replays in order to catch stages that didn’t feature live – so this is a significant step for those who can’t attend.

YouTube Premium users will also be able to get in on the backstage action, as well as the ability to stream pre-parties.
