Craig Bellamy is banking on rookie halfback Trent Toelau to handle superstar Sydney Roosters duo Sam Walker and Daly Cherry-Evans as Melbourne look to keep their NRL finals hopes alive.

Toelau has only started in the No.7 jersey once in his 20-game career, playing halfback for Penrith in round four of the 2025 season.
