International storyteller Liz Weir is sharing for the first time her own story of being diagnosed with a rare cancer during lockdown in a bid to help others.
With around 9,800 people diagnosed with cancer every year in Northern Ireland, Liz hopes to inspire people to play a part in the fight against the disease.
The 72-year-old from Co Antrim has written 27 books and received an MBE for her services to the arts and education in Northern Ireland.
