Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is set to leave for Japan and Singapore on May 23, where he, along with his delegation, will invite industrialists from these countries to take part in the Global Investors’ Meet scheduled to be held in Chennai on January 10 and 11, 2024.
During his speech at an event when the Tamil Nadu government and Mitsubishi Electric signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a unit in Tiruvallur district, Mr. Stalin pointed out that of the 12 Japan industrial townships located in India, three were in Tamil Nadu.
“Moreover, Japanese are living in Tamil Nadu in large numbers. I will be going to Japan later this month by leading a industrial delegation so as to strengthen this relationship”, Mr. Stalin said.
