An elderly man who died after being hit by a car in Clydebank has been named by police.
James Malloy was involved in a crash on Chalmers Street at around 11.45am on Saturday.
The 82-year-old was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
Sergeant Archie McGuire said: “Our thoughts remain with James’ family and friends at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information or dashcam footage who has not yet spoken to us to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1375 of 15 April, 2023.”
