Clyde have tonight announced that under pressure manager Danny Lennon has been "placed on paid authorised absence."
The Bully Wee are toiling in League One with the club on a nine-game losing streak and second bottom of the division.
Lennon's men haven't picked up a point since a 3-0 win over Kelty Hearts in August.
And on Saturday the former League Cup-winning gaffer with St Mirren admitted Clyde FC is currently "the lowest that it's been."
Now, Clyde have announced assistant boss Allan Moore will take charge on an interim basis.
A short club statement on social media read: "The club can announce that manager Danny Lennon has been placed on paid authorised absence.
"Assistant Manager, Allan Moore, will take charge of the squad for training and match days on an interim basis."
Moore's first match will come this weekend when Clyde travel to Alloa Athletic.
On Saturday, following a 2-1 defeat to Queen of the South, Lennon said: “I take full responsibility as Clyde manager.
"In the five years that I’ve been here - and not just in my time at the club - this is certainly the lowest that it's been, this run we are on.
“But we all love challenges. I know it is unacceptable losing that amount of games on the trot, but when you see some of the games and the moments these players can produce, it puzzles me in terms of where we find ourselves.
“I think a big part of it comes from a big lack of confidence and that’s where we need the strong characters in there to stand up and be counted."
