Following a lovely sunny day, cloudy skies will begin making their way back over Greater Manchester today (April 28) as temperatures reach their lowest for the week.
While temperatures will still remain somewhat warm, peaking at 12C in the evening, it will mark the coldest day of the week by a few degrees. Thursday will begin with a chilly but sunny morning with "any frost soon clearing," the Met Office says.
It also notes that the number of clouds will begin to increase throughout the afternoon, moving well into the evening. The Met Office also stated that the evening will see "cloud clearing" which will lead to starry skies for most in the region while "turning chilly, with a patchy frost in the countryside" leading to temperatures as cold as -2C in some areas.
