Anger over a decision to close the last bank in an East Lothian town has sparked calls for the local authority to step in.
The Royal Bank of Scotland has said it will close its Tranent branch this summer - seven years after it closed its last branch in the neighbouring town of Prestonpans.
The decision to pull out of Tranent, like Prestonpans in 2016, means the town will be left with no bank.
