Clint Eastwood, 92, to direct LAST film reuniting cast of iconic Noughties movie

Clint Eastwood is preparing to direct his last-ever movie to wrap up his 70-year career.

The actor, who turns 93 next month, will be working with Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette in his final project.

Juror No. 2 follows the story of a juror working on a murder trial (Hoult) who realises that he may have caused the death.

He has to decide whether to manipulate the jury to save his own back or come clean.

Collette is set to play the prosecutor in the Warner Bros. film.

The pair have previously worked alongside one another, playing mother and son Fiona and Marcus in the 2002 film, About A Boy.

Eastwood is the genius behind Sully, Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby and Richard Jewell.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, after months of trying to cast the right pairing, official offers to Hoult and Collette have now been sent.

Ensuring that he picked a strong story for his last film, Eastwood was set to have taken months reading over scripts until he decided on Juror No.2.

Eastwood's last film was Cry Macho, a Neo-Western which was released in 2021.

He starred in the film too, but unfortunately for Eastwood, this wasn't quite the swansong he was hoping for.

The film gathered poor reviews with critics calling it "dull", "bland" and "slow".

Hoult, who made a name for himself after he starred alongside Collette when he was just 11 years old, is set to star in Renfield.

He plays Dracula's henchman in the horror comedy.

The actor is also starring in the third season of Hulu's The Great, which will be coming out next month.

He was nominated for an Emmy award for the second season of the show.

Collette is also starring in Mafia Mamma - a comedy about an American woman who inherits an Italian mob empire.

“I literally had the time of my life!” Collette told Rolling Stone.
