Amanda posted: "I know you think this has been done before, but this really is the last time.
"It is almost 17 years to the day that Charles and I took over The Lansdown and what a 17 years it has been.
"We have had some incredible parties, quiz nights, sports events, music evenings, beer festivals and so much more.
"It was our home for 11 years, where our boys and their friends learnt about pubs and discovered tab 75!
"None of this would have been possible without all our incredible staff through this time.
"Most importantly a huge shout out for our incredible friend Chaz Clemens who not only ran the place brilliantly last year, when it was so difficult and sad for us all, but also produced food that was always amazing.
"Anyway I could go on for far too long, so I will end now by wishing Dan and Lara all the best going forward, we are so thrilled that they are here and hope everyone will give them all their support as they take on The Lansdown.
"So signing off for the last time.
"Here's to the future whatever it may hold for us.
"Amanda and Charles."
Plenty of people wished the couple well.
