A Nottingham pub was temporarily closed after police were called to a 'disturbance' involving a group of people. Police officers were called to The Peacock pub on Southchurch Drive in Clifton at 8.45pm on Tuesday, February 14.
Nottinghamshire Police, which according to an eyewitness had 10 cars at the scene, described the incident as a "disturbance". It said no one was hurt during the incident.
Greene King, which owns The Peacock, said the pub had called the police and closed after an incident between a group of people, but would be open on Wednesday, February 15. A spokesperson for The Peacock said: “We called the police last night after an incident involving a group of people. We will be open as usual today.”

Nottinghamshire Police said it was carrying out further inquiries into the disturbance. Sergeant Natham Phipps, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers were called to the Peacock Pub, Southchurch Drive, Clifton, at around 8.45pm on Tuesday (February 14), following reports of a disturbance.
“Nobody suffered any injuries during the incident and police are still in the process of carrying out further inquiries to fully establish what happened.
“Anyone who has any information is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident 698 of February 14 2023.”
