While we might not all agree on how long you should leave your bedsheets on for, we can all come together in agreement that nothing beats putting on a fresh set.
However, your fresh clean linen can sometimes become tarnished with a musty smell, and even mould in some serious cases - depending on where we store our bedding.
Although they may feel bone dry after a wash, there's often still moisture lurking and lingering in the fibres - so storing sheets in the wrong location, or folding them incorrectly can sometimes lead to an unpleasant pong.

The Mirror reports that cleaning expert Sarah Jubb from Happy Beds, has recently shared her wisdom for folding bedding and putting it away to avoid any mould growth and stop them from smelling musty. Her tips could force you to make some changes to your laundry routine, The Sun reports.
She explained: "It is difficult to ensure your bedsheets stay fresh as they have come out of the washing machine and been put away in their designated spot."
Sarah then added that fighting this stale smell could be tricky without a dedicated cupboard for bedsheets. She added: "This is because keeping your bedding in a place without air can lead to mould due to moisture developing, creating that musty smell."
So, the best thing you can do is to make sure the bedsheets are properly dry before folding them as mould can grow out of any dampness at all. She went onto say that storing the bedsheets in the bathroom cupboard could be the worse thing for them as the humid climate is the perfect spot for any mould to develop.
"Instead, an airing or linen cupboard is the best place as it's a dry and dark area," she said.
In addition, keeping them in a cupboard under your bed can also be a good move, but, the expert professes that it is not wise to keep them in large plastic boxes which is a trend popularised on social media. An airtight container is the perfect breeding ground for mould as no air is able to get through to them so it is best to avoid storing them in this way.
Her final tip is to give the bedsheets a wash once a week as, even though it is a lot of work, it is important to keep them fresh.
