Balbeggie Primary School was closed because of a fire in a classroom on Wednesday, April 19.
Emergency services were alerted of an incident inside the Perthshire village school at 7.16am and three SFRS appliances went immediately.
No one was injured and normal school for the 63 pupils is expected to resume tomorrow, Thursday 20.
Parents were turned away by police officers as they arrived with children to start the school day.
A spokesperson Perth and Kinross Council said: “Balbeggie Primary School is closed today because of a fire this morning. Fire crews attended the school shortly after 8am.
“We are currently assessing the building and hope to re-open as normal on Thursday. We will provide more information as soon as it is available.”
A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “I can confirm we received a call at 7.16am and three appliances attended.
“This was a fire in a classroom and the stop message was received at 8.34am.”
Police Scotland explained: “We received a call around 8.20am for us to assist with traffic management for a fire on Main Street, Balbeggie.”
