Clarks announces plan to close popular Arnold store

A Clarks Outlet store will soon be closing in a Nottinghamshire town. The popular shoe manufacturer and retailer has confirmed that its Arnold store will shut in January 2023.

The store is currently located on Front Street, and is one of more than 50 outlet stores across the UK, Republic of Ireland and in some parts of Europe. Shoppers in the area have been told they will now need to visit the nearest Clarks store in Nottingham city centre.

The business is well known for its children's shoes and shoe fittings. A Clarks Spokesperson said: "Clarks confirms its store in Arnold, Nottinghamshire, will close in January 2023.

"We have a strong duty of care to all our employees, and we are working closely with the store team as they now go through a period of consultation. Customers can continue to shop from our full range of products online and at our nearby Clarks stores in Nottingham, Long Eaton and Mansfield.”
