Joe Canning believes Clare probably should have been given two frees towards the end of their Munster final clash with Limerick.
John Kiely's men won by a single point, but there was fury from Clare supporters after their side were denied two frees by referee Liam Gordon in the dying seconds of the game.
Clare manager Brian Lohan also went on to the pitch to speak to the referee after the match.

The first of the controversial incidents came when Peter Casey collided with Tony Kelly before another player appeared to be "taken out" by William O'Donoghue.
Speaking on RTE's coverage on The Sunday Game, Canning said: "We have to talk about it. It was at the very end, Clare tried to turn the ball over.
He continued: "They were two frees they probably should have got. People say end of the game, one-point game, but that's life I'm afraid."
Clare native Anthony Daly was also working for RTE and added: "It's chaos at the end. The quick puckout should have been allowed to be taken, we'd the pitch invasion then cleared the field. Two frees there should have been given.
"I'm still not whinging about it because we missed so much."
