Several political leaders, opposition members, digital content creators and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) functionaries were detained on Saturday as Delhi witnessed a major security crackdown ahead of a planned protest demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation.

Among those detained were CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, digital creator Kavya Karnatac and several CPI(M) leaders, including former Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
