Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice Surya Kant rejected the INDIA bloc leaders’ request for a meeting to submit a representation over alleged electoral irregularities, explaining the reasons for the decision in a response sent to them via email, people aware of the development told PTI on Sunday.

Kant stated that the opposition parties should approach the court by filing a petition as the matter is already sub judice.
