Civil Service (NI) Under 18 rugby captain Euan Bailie has been recognised for making a difference at his rugby club, on and off the pitch.
The teenager - who attends Grosvenor High School. - was recently awarded the Gold Sports Inspire Award after completing 200 hours of voluntary work.
The Sports Inspire Awards Programme is managed and delivered in partnership with Ulster Rugby, GAA and Irish FA.

Delivery of the programme is available to young volunteers aged between 14-24 years of age and the programme was developed to recognise the volunteering work that young people do in their schools and clubs.
To obtain the Gold Award Euan assisted with the club youth training nights and school holiday rugby camps, helping with setting up of equipment, assisting with the coaching and helping to supervise the younger players.
Stan Cinnamond, Club Community Rugby Officer at Civil Service Ruby Club, said: "I am absolutely delighted that Euan has won this award. He thoroughly deserves it after all his hard work and dedication.
"He has shown an incredible commitment and enthusiasm to assist the club to help re-establish its youth system. Euan has assisted the club’s youth coaching team in relation to the development of U12, U14 and U16 boys teams and U12 girls teams during the season and his help has been invaluable to the club."
Meanwhile, another major milestone was also achieved recently at Civil Service with the club playing two girls' rugby fixtures on the same day for the first time.
The girls' section which started in September 2022 has now developed an Under 10 team in addition to its already successful U12 girls' team.
Last month both teams played Ballymena at Stormont with the Civil Service U12 girls winning by 13 tries to two, and the U10’s scoring 20 tries and conceding seven times.
Top scorers for the U12’s were Isla Nicolson (4), Charlotte Dempster (2), Isla McKillen (2) and Hannah Humphrys (2). Top scorers for the U10’s were Imogen Snoddy (7), Jersey Kane (6), Nina Byron (3) and Maisie Pidgeon (2)
Civil Service (NI) Rugby Club is located at Stormont and has two adult male teams, U16, U14 and U12 boys teams, a U12 girls team and a Mini Rugby Section that has teams from P2-P7.
