A City of London Police officer has been sacked for making a string of sexually-charged comments towards female new recruits he had been trusted to train.

PC Mathieu Merenda talked about cheating on his wife with her friends, made “sexual jokes”, and quizzed one female officer about whether she had a boyfriend.
