The City of Lexington is offering a free trash disposal day Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bluegrass Regional Transfer Station on Old Frankfort Pike. Lauren Monahan is an environmental initiatives specialist with Lexington’s Division of Waste Management.
“This event in particular is designed to give an option for those who might be doing like a larger clean out who may not have city waste collection normally. We're taking regular household waste.”
