Lucknow: City’s mango grower SC Shukla was honoured at a three-day National Mango Festival in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The mangoes produced by Shukla, who has already been awarded ‘Udyan Ratna’ by the UP government, at his Mangofeast orchard, earned the top honour.
He received the trophy from Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel. Shukla, who grows more than 350 varieties of mangoes, has been awarded in many other states, including Odisha, Delhi and Haryana, in the past.
