The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will declare the results of the first semester board examinations for both Class 10 and 12 at 10 a.m. on February 7, according to a notification issued on Friday.
Students can access their results on the CISCE website, or receive them via text message by sending their examination details and unique IDs to 09248082883. Schools will also be able to access results on the council’s CAREERS portal.
Both the CISCE and the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) are conducting two board examinations in the 2021-2022 academic year in order to mitigate the possible effect of COVID-19, which has disrupted the examination calendar for the last two years. The first semester examination was held in November and December 2021 and the second board examination for the year will be held in March 2022.
The CBSE initially planned to declare results for the first semester by January 15, but postponed it without giving a new date. Due to various complications, the board stopped allowing same day correction of the multiple choice answer sheets in the school premises itself about halfway through the examination schedule, delaying the declaration of results.
