Rohit, who led India to their first ICC trophy since the 2013 Champions Trophy by winning the 2024 T20 World Cup, spoke on JioHotstar’s programme about his teammates and India’s preparations for the upcoming tournament.
Speaking about Tilak Varma, Rohit highlighted the 21-year-old left-hander’s ability to handle pressure in high-stakes games. “I think he has something different. Attitude is superb. The temperament is, most importantly, the knock in the Asia Cup final against Pakistan last year—unbelievable. He is already showing signs that he is a big match player,” Rohit said.
